The experience:
I have been a seasoned photographer for over a decade doing the gift that God has blessed me with. I love to capture blessings, births, passions, opportunities, new chapters, celebrations and love. My portraits usually evoke the emotions and expressions of laughter, romance, growth in a family and passions. My niche as far as specialty has changed every year. I have been doing something different I really just wait for what God blesses me with as far as clientele and word of mouth is concerned. I feel if you are my client then we are meant to cross paths and that my photographing them is just an opportunity to connect with someone new in the season they are in. I am not a big editor- I like to get it right on camera as best as possible and let the atmosphere that God blessed me with that day to be the background. So, if you are looking for overlays or insane cosmetic changes in your portraits I am not the person for you. I think those things are awesome but its not something I enjoy doing unless I can make it happen in real life during a staged shoot.
This is not just a photography business, it is a memory album business. I want you to invest in the memories you have taken photos of over time and posted on your facebook, instagram or hard drive. I want them OFFLINE and in your physical hands so that if something should happen with your images you still have them printed. I have been doing this for over a decade just giving digitals to my clients and I cannot tell you how many times people have said to me that they lost their wedding album or they never printed their pictures I took of their family 2 years ago. How sad that such beautiful images of your family go to waste on the internet! They should be enjoyed, flipped through, on your mantel or in your living room displayed. These are precious gifts of your life. I know how time can pass by quickly and that you may not have time for scrapbooking. That's what I am here for. This is a niche that I have not seen in this area and I am happy to offer this service and get your cherished blessings on print!
With Cherished Blessings Photography we value togetherness, family, candids and having fun while doing the session. Typically I always tell parents if you have a child that doesn't stay still or won't cooperate that the outdoors is the element they need to be within in order to get good photos.
Every session includes the following:
-30-45 minutes of time ( $225 value) OR 1 hr to 90 minutes of time in your session ($450). These include all digitals in the album and all low resolution images
-An online gallery to view photos attached to shopping cart with professional lab that will ship your prints to your house.
-An professional, beveled glass album with leather binding containing 20 matted and firm pages with prints that you can put in of the session -AND prints you have taken of your own over that year or season etc.

The session experience:
Steps to starting the process:
1. Deposit $50 for just an album or $100 if doing the shoot as well. This locks the day and time for the shoot and shows commitment in the album process.
2. Send me the pics you want to Cherishedblessingsphoto@gmail.com I will add a dropbox link as well if needed. In that email, tell me your FAVORITES that you want placed as larger photos. I need up to 150 images sent to me. and about 40-50 images from the session sent to me.
3. Session gets photographed images back in 14-21 business days depending on the season. Ask me what sessions I have going on as well sometimes I have some cool places and staged shoots being set up
4. Select your favorites by 5 STARING them on the gallery. This lets me know that you love these and want them incorporated in the album.
5. Download the images that you want on the link. Those that you put into the album will be high res, the rest will be low resolution.
6. Select the color of leather and the front photo of the cover.
7. Layout edits 2 reviews max.
8. Send to print. 3rd payment must be made to send to print.
9. Delivery can be straight to the house but final payment must be made to have it delivered. I can hand deliver and make final payment if necessary.
Q & A:
What if I already have another photographer that I work with?
That is okay! Once upon a time I used to look at other photographers in the industry as a competition but these days I love to see their growth and expertise in their passion on the memory capturing business. Photography is an art and not one photographer is quite like the other. I do NOT have to be your photographer for you to purchase an album with me. In fact I want you to give me not just professional pictures but your BEST photographs that you cherish that make you smile, cry, laugh, etc. Anything that you would be SO upset about if facebook or your harddrive crashed that you dont want to lose, put in that album.
I offer these album services to you whether your my photographer or not! Do you have a wedding CD that you have not put in an album yet from another photographer? I can put it together for you! I have economically priced these albums out to be cost effective and fair. I believe in transparency and in not over charging for these products I only upsell these albums 3x the cost of what the lab charges me plus an additional service fee on hours taken to produce the product for you and quantity of pages.
How many photos can I have per album? How do you configure them?
The basic standard album is a 6x6 album with 20 pages, 10 layouts. I can put upwards of 22 images per 2 page spread but know that they will all be smaller in size. If you want an awesome blown up photo that would mean less photos on the spread. I usually will layout the images chronologically so if you wanted to do an album of all the trips you took, birthdays, sporting events and school achievements for that year in the year 2022 album, then I would do those in order from Jan through December. If you would lie to purchase more spreads the cost is $15 per each additional page added. If you would like a larger size option 8x8, 10x10 or 12x12, the price goes up $99 for each size so $99 for a 8x8, $199 more for a 10x10 and $299 more for a 12x12.
Typically I would say lets start with 100-150 of your best photos. Probably a good 40-50 images from the session we do as well.
Can I see the layouts before send to print? Color of album and Front cover decisions.
YES! We do 2 edits before I send off to print. Additional customizations after 2 edits is $25/hour edit change. I have a program that allows you to text back and forth on each layout and discuss what changes you want made. After we discuss the number of pages, front cover picture and color swatch for the leather binding then I submit the order to the lab.
Can I get duplicate copies?
Yes! If you get a duplicate copy of this album with no changes or adjustments made to the design I will charge 25% off the cost of the additional album. Buy 2 get the 3rd FREE. I want you to SHARE these with grandparents and family members and your children!

When do we do the session and what lighting do you use?
Some sessions I will bring a reflector or additional lighting if it is an indoor setting and other sessions we will rely on the lighting outside to do the trick for us. I am a huge fan of the Golden hour which is the last 1 hour of the day before sunset or the beginning of the day at sunrise where the colors of the sky are the best. I prefer to do shoots in the evening between 5 and 7 with optimal lighting or in the morning before 11am. In Georgia anytime between is too hot. I am flexible as far as days or weekend hours go depending on availability between myself and the client.

When will my album be delivered?
